Stars

On December 21st Jupiter and Saturn will appear to meet up in the sky. Astronomers and others call this phenomena "The Christmas Star" even though it's two planets and not a star at all! Millie decided to collect some stars today. She had a helper or two along the way.
Lots of lovely stars. Must have been collecting for awhile. Millie fits right in.

Hopefully we will have clear skies. Cherry Springs – a dark sky site in PA – is only a little over 3 hours from you.

Lovely with all the stars. My birthday on the 21st I won't be needing any candles this year this amazing event should be enough.

My first thought when I saw this was the carol "Silent Night" which I felt described the photo well.
