We were in Newcastle again today and the rain just got worse and worse. This was taken from the car as we were driving home. I need to add I wasn't driving.
The weather forecast says that it should stop by the middle of the week though. Can't wait.
I have to say that does resemble our summer to date, but hallelujah this weekend has been beautiful, especially today 25 degrees - it FINALLY feels like summer. Have you got some indoor shots planned for the next few days.
@angelar Not insensitive at all Angela. As you say you don't expect this in Oz. It is winter though and we are such a huge country we get the full range of weather from the stinking hot to the freezing cold across our land. The good thing here is that in NSW, even though it is winter, we do get lots of nice days too. Just not this week!
@derekvickers Same here. As we passed the footy stadium on our way home yesterday, people were turning up for the footy match. Ugh! It was the Broadmeadow Magic vs Charlestown City Blues and I think the match was postponed. Can't think why!!
@paulaw Good to hear that your summer has arrived. I have ideas for indoor shots all the time, but have managed to get out most days and not needed them yet. It has poured with rain all night too, but Shh! the sun is shining at the moment.
@lafish Thanks Laurie. Sorry to hear you are having a wet summer. At least here in the southern hemisphere it is winter, I wouldn't be happy if this was the weather in our summer. The sun is shining at the moment though. Shh!
@gerry Thanks Gerry. The rain has finally stopped here and the sun is shining again. The good thing about winter in Australia is that it isn't winter EVERY day.
@onewing that sounds good to me I wish the uk would get the seasons like seasons should be today well at this right moment its overcast does not look good at all I am attending work later on today as I have a GP appointment but at midday no other appointments before that I have timed owed where I have left work at 5:30 uk time rather than my finish time of 5pm. and Its not often touch wood i have to attend to my Doctors.
@dekky740 I think you live in Victoria is that right? We have noticed over the last few years how dry Victoria is. Our daughter @gypsy6 lives down there. Hope you get some rain soon. You can have ours!!!
