After pouring with rain all night again, the sun came out for about 20 minutes this morning and then the heaven's opened again and it has rained on and off all day.
The only time I went out today was to do some grocery shopping, in between showers, so haven't taken a photo today.
I have some ideas for indoor photos but a friend turned up this afternoon so that put paid to photography for the moment and now it is too late to put into action some of the ideas I had.
This photo I took yesterday, at Kotara shopping centre, of Elmo and Panda doing a spot of shopping. This is something you don't see every day, so I decided to put this on here for my photo today. I will probably never come across Elmo or Panda again.
@joluise There was a little girl I could hear as I was walking away and she was shouting at Elmo saying "I love you Elmo". She was about 4 years old, she was so sweet.
@paulaw Thanks Paula. There are a few waterlogged fields around and even the kangaroo's are paddling through them too. I would have got a photo of that, but it was pouring with rain and there was nowhere to stop as we were driving past. Pity.
@derekvickers@angelar Thanks. The kids love television characters wandering through the shopping centres. It must be hot inside those suits. Not too bad now that it is winter, but in summer it must be a killer.
@dekky740 A friend said there weren't may people in the shopping centre. No wonder, we were the only ones daft enough to venture out in all that rain!!!
I love you elmo!!!! Cant say the same for Panda because I bought Archie a Cars doona cover and the kung foo panda one was in the package instead of cars.....it had a snake on it and he freaked out and wouldnt put it on his bed. I had to scour Australia for a Cars one but finally got it.
