Lichen

We are having a lazy day today so this is a picture of lichen on a tree down by the beach. I just love the patterns it makes.

Its very white, I don't think I have ever seen anything like this one. Did anyone see you looking closely at the tree wondering what you were up to!!

I've never seen anything like this either, from the thumbnail I thought it was snow! Maybe it's bleached by the sun :)

So lovely Babs....so glad you are having a good time. I am finding it harder to find time to comment as we are so busy getting the house and garden ready for the winter and packing up our RV for our trip. It's a lot of work ... but we will be on the road soon and I will be doing a great deal of sitting.
