I can't believe that I have actually completed a full year. This year has had lots of ups and downs and there were times when I didn't think I would make it through, but thanks to the support of lots of people here on this website I have managed it.

I hope to carry on next year with a different theme, but in the meantime I wish everyone a Happy New Year and hope that 2014 is a wonderful year for us all.
Many congratulations to you Babs .... 2013 has been a very sad and difficult year for you, you are an inspiring woman to have been so proud and brave. I hope to see you around in 2014, in whatever guise you choose.
This is beautiful Babs, I love all of the bright colors and the fireworks are wonderful. I do need to try taking photos of some this summer. This is very lovely. I wish you and your family a very Happy New year!

@jackie8 Thanks you so much Jackie for your kind words, not so sure about the brave or inspiring though, there were times during 2013 where I felt more like a piece of chewed string!!!! One thing I have learned though is that I can bounce back.
During such a terrible year on occasion I have learned also that one thing you have to have is a sense of humour. I defintely lost mine for a while but have it back now (it was under the bed). I will always have good days and bad days and Zoe will always be in our lives.
When Deb got so sick at the beginning of December it really dragged me down again, but it was so good to see her fully recovered. Hope 2014 is a wonderful year for you and your family and really appreciate your friendship. Happy New Year.

Oh Babs! I went looking for all the folks I know who had finished their project and I missed yours. I would just like to say what a pleasure it has been following you over the year and despite all that life has dealt you, you have come back with a bounce and that has made me feel just how easy my life is. Now all that remains os for me to say WOOOOOOHOOOO! HAPPY DANCE! WAHEY! YESYESYESYES! My favourite lady has just gone and done it and finished the most gruelling experience! Well done! You will be staying with us, won't you?

@angelar Thanks for the congrats Angela. Yes Deb was really sick at the beginning of December and ended up in an induced coma for 2 days. It was a very worrying time. It is so good to see her well again.
