This clear glass paperweight sits on a table in our rumpus room and when the sunlight shines in through the window it makes beautiful patterns and shadows.
I liked the shape the shadow made on the table top and the reflection of the window in the glass ball.
I have used this ball in photos before and thought a black and white image added a different look to it.

This is just a glass paperweight and I took some photos with it at the beginning of last year on 365. I have just treated myself to a crystal orb and look forward to playing with that.
This one is about 80 mm.

All I have done with this shot is to convert it to b&w and increase the contrast slightly, otherwise it is SOOC. It is just as the light shone in through the window and you can see the window in the orb and the lines from the shadecloth from our patio in the shadow.
Thanks Sharon, I think I am generally bouncing back this year. I did some creative shots last year, but I am thinking about them more often this year I believe.
