Friday people photo day again and I saw this chap, who was spear fishing at Seven Mile Beach, when we were on our outing with U3A yesterday. It brought to mind the proverb ‘Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime’. He had a very successful day.
That saying is just so true, and your photo fits it very well. Love the way you've captured this shot with the ocean surging on the rocks, the splashes, the colours and reflections not to mention the look on his face!
Thank you all so much. I have been a bit slow at saying thanks for checking out my photos because I have been wanting to catch up on your photos, been a busy week.
Well spotted Diane, another man. This one didn't have a beard though, ha ha.
I was taking photos of him as he was fishing in the water as he kept bobbing up with snorkel, spear and putting his catch in the net (the green thing in the picture) which was attached to the orange buoy. He was so interesting to watch. There were a couple of us on the beach taking pictures of him and we had a chat to him after he got out of the water and we got his email address to send him the pics we got. He was a lovely chap and this was his local beach I believe.
