Beside the seaside

Today and tomorrow I will be posting a collage of murals which appear on the outer walls of a car park in Nelson Bay. I have posted a photo earlier in the year of some of the paintings, but just wanted to record all of them in case they disappear in the near future.

At the beginning of November the car park was closed because it is considered to be unsafe. What will happen to the car park I don't know, but I wanted to take a photo of each of the artworks on the walls just in case they disappear if the car park is to be demolished.

That is a great idea. What you need to do is speak to the local historic society or council and offer them the photos so if they do go they are recorded as you plan

@elaine55 I am sure you are right Elaine. the car park is owned by our local Council and I suspect they want to sell it off to a developer and then pocket a load of money.
