Out For a Stroll

The rain has stopped and the sun has been shining again today.

I just loved how this couple were enjoying an afternoon stroll.
I like it, very quaint and great exposure detail Fav.

This has such an eternal summery feel to it, like there was never a thought of a cloud in the sky!

Dare we jump in I wonder! It does look quite inviting but it looks like summer here but we know it's winter! I think I will wait till it warms up!

Interesting couple :)

Great capture

@happypat They were probably looking at the crocodile just to the right of this picture. Not a real one I might add but a metal sculpture of a green crocodile. No wonder they were dubious about entering the water.
July 10th, 2016
@365projectorgjenfurj As I said to Pat above, there was a crocodile sculpture in the water, so they were both a bit wary of going into the water.

@shesnapped It does have a summery feel doesn't it, but it is the middle of winter here. Lovely sunshine and warm this day though.

I am on catch up today because we are out again this evening.
The reason they were looking so curious I suspect is because just out of shot there is a metal sculpture of a crocodile in the water. ha ha. I couldn't fit that in this photo though because it was too far away.

How sweet! Fav!
July 10th, 2016
I like the way you've captured them both looking the same way, ducks always seem to turn their heads the other way just as I click! Great colours in this too.
July 10th, 2016
A gorgeous capture, the colours are lovely :)
July 10th, 2016
Reflections in the water here are what really attract me. I like the way both geese have identical stances.
July 10th, 2016
@onewing NO WAY!!! That just cannot be a middle of the winter shot!!!!
July 11th, 2016
@shesnapped Yep, definitely winter. Winter in the southern hemisphere here in Australia is June, July and August. The good thing about winter in Australia is that even in winter it isn't wintery every day. Today the temperature is 20 degrees C (68 f).

Reminds me of Beatrix Potter.
