Where's Wally

This shot reminded me of the Where's Wally books.

Twenty Nine rainbow lorikeets having lunch and one noisy miner decided to join the party.

He didn't stay long as the lorikeets shooed him away.

I think that noisy miners are the fighter pilots of the bird kingdom, because they swoop in at top speed, pick up the food and fly off again, usually without stopping, ha ha. This one was brave and decided to land.

I am posting a bit early today because we are out for dinner tonight.

What a lovely colourful sight these lorikeets are! The minor bird is cute in it's own way as well. Are the lorikeets noisy? We get ring necked parakeets over here and they are noisy - they sound exactly like a dogs squeaky toy! Enjoy your diiner out!

@stephanies Thanks Stephanie. The rainbow lorikeets make an awful lot of noise. They all seem to want to talk at once, ha ha. The noisy miner isn't so noisy after all compared to the lorikeets. It probably can't get a word in edgeways :)
