I am posting a bit early today because we are out again this evening.
I mentioned a couple of days ago that David went on a dolphin watch with some friends. He isn't a very good sailor and when he returned home his face was almost as green as the water, but he did get some photos of dolphins.
I thought I would post this photo of his because I know how difficult it is for him to look through the lens of a camera when on a boat. Not a good thing to do if you feel even slightly nauseous. The things we all do to get a photo.
He also saw penguins, a hammer head shark and various other sea creatures.
Lovely capture, amazing to have an experience with them my daughter and I did in Jamaica , Millie was too young for a swim so Millie and Chris had a touch experience.
Well done him! I am a good sailor if I am helming, but put me below on a boat or with no specific job to do and I am as green as that water too! Lovely shot
Absolutely fantastic.. this is the way to see these beautiful intelligent animals, in their natural environment - out in the oceans/seas, not stuck in some disgustingly tiny filthy pool.
there is a great sense of movement in the water as the animals surges forward.. David did really good with this, especially considering his not feeling too well..

He didn't feel too bad for most of the time on the boat because it sailed within the bay, it was only when they got out towards The Heads and the ocean proper when he started to feel not so good. He isn't actually sick on boats, but he does turn a slight shade of green when the water gets a bit 'lumpy'.
I think some of the problem was the fact that he was not only taking photos, he was filming videos on his camera too and looking through the lens when the boat is moving up and down is when he feels the effects.
