Sorry I am a bit absent from 365 at the moment, but there is a lot going on here right now. I will catch up when I can.
Here is the last of the photos taken on our bus trip last Thursday.
This is another photo at Tea Gardens, you can see some of the houseboats in this picture and also in the distance is the Singing Bridge.
The Singing Bridge crosses the Myall River connecting Tea Gardens and Hawks Nest. It got its name from the musical sounds the bridge railings generate during strong south-westerly winds causing the bridge to act as a wind harp.
What an intense blue. Sorry I've not been commenting for a few days but I've been incredibly busy and I've barely had time to upload even. I'm away a few days now too! Your comments are always appreciated.
@golftragic I've watched lots of dolphins swimming in the river from the Singing Bridge. @ludwigsdiana It does sound quite beautiful when the wind sings through the railings. @gilbertwood@hermann@sdutoit@sangwann@happysnaps@novab Thanks, it is a lovely place to visit. We quite often sail over from our side of the bay to Tea Gardens on the ferry boat and have lunch at the pub.
@angelar Not to worry Angela, I am absent a bit at the moment too. Have a lovely few days away.
@helenhall@pusspup Thanks Helen and Wylie, some nice things keeping us busy but a couple of not so good ones too.
A good friend of ours is in palliative care at a local nursing home and he hasn't much longer for this world. His wife has Alzheimer's and is in the same home. David and I have been trying to help the family as much as we can and also visiting John and Elizabeth. John has deteriorated so much just in the last week, it is so sad to see him disappearing from the world. Sometimes Elizabeth knows who we are and others not so much.
