Yesterday I posted a photo of a reflection at our local marina and Pat @happypat wondered what it was, so this morning I wandered down to the marina to take this photo.
Luckily the marina is only a couple of minutes walk from my house so it was easy to get this photo.
It has been another lovely day but I believe rain is on the way.
I spotted three dolphins doing a spot of fishing in the water around the marina as I walked along the breakwater. Didn't manage to get any decent photos of them though. I think one dolphin was a baby swimming alongside his mother.
Nice reveal- the water looks pretty calm today as opposed to yesterday's ripples. We've seen dolphins swimming off the New Jersey coast here- so much fun to see! But the fishermen there don't like them. They scare away the fish. Nice shot.
Oh thank you Babs...of course now I realise what it was all the time...simple when you know! The reflection really threw me....should have tuned my head!!
@casablanca Thanks. I very often see dolphins as I walk along this stretch of the beach. There are always a few by the marina.
@olivetreeann Nobody seems to mind the dolphins here, I believe we have about 500 or so in the bay and they are good for tourism as there are dolphin and whale watching boats out daily. Well before Covid there were.
@happypat The things I do for you Pat, ha ha. Luckily the marina is only a couple of minutes walk from my house.
