Still on the playing with food theme and I think this one worked out a bit better than yesterday's lemon and lime.It did have its problems though.
I put a black cloth on the patio table outside because I wanted to use natural light and then I propped up a piece of black card at the back. I set up the two halves of the apple with the staples stuck in them and was just about to take the photo when the wind blew and the card dropped on top of the apple and knocked out the staples. ha ha. Had to start again but it worked the second time.
So fun and clever. Really caught my eye on the Trending page with the black background. The extra staples in the corner are a great touch. Great composition! fav
Oh my- this brings back memories of when they took the dressing off my knee after surgery and I realized when they said "You'll get the staples taken out in 2 weeks" that they really meant STAPLES! LOL Cool set-up!
@olivetreeann I had staples in my neck like this too after I had my thyroid removed. I think to anyone looking at me I must have looked like Frankenstein's monster having a new head stapled on my shoulders, ha ha.
I just saw this on the TT, great image and well placed in the top twenty! I hadn't noticed, I used to follow you and you seem to have dropped off my list - remedied now!

@pusspup Indeed, less messy than sewing. I fed the apple to the possums when I had finished, but I took the staples out first.
