Yesterday it bucketed down with rain all day. Unfortunately we had to drive to Newcastle for David's medical appointment.
The rain didn't ease all day and just after we got home I believe the road was closed at Williamtown because of flooding.
According to our rain gauge we had 80 mm rain in 6 hours.
This was taken at Bobs Farm about 11 am just as the rain was starting to get heavy. It got worse as the day went on and over the next couple of days I will post some more photos of our day.
Good for you getting out on that sort of grey blur! It makes a slippery photo and I can even imagine the swish of the tyres on the opposite side of the road!
@casablanca@gilbertwood I almost ended up with webbed feet. Good job I was wearing my sturdy shoes and raincoat. No chance of using an umbrella I would have taken off like Mary Poppins.
Great picture of the miserable weather. just like ours. we had a storm warning a few days ago. it came down in buckets and on top a lightning thunderstorm. it's been raining everyday since.
@koalagardens Glad you have had some rain too, hopefully it will damp down the bushfire season.

The rain has eased today but more on the way I believe. We really have a good drenching though and it was much needed. Hopefully it will help damp down the ground when the bushfire season begins. Every time we had to get out of the car we got drenched, so came home rather soggy ourselves too.
