Follow the Leader

I am posting a bit early today because I have a medical appointment this afternoon. We seem to both be having lots of medical appointments this week, I have another one tomorrow too. It seems to be that time of year where all our ongoing annual appointments are due.

Here is another photo from our trip to Newcastle on Monday.

We followed this oversize vehicle for about 40 or 50 km. Each time we got closer as we approached traffic lights or roundabouts we got sprayed with water. At least our car is now very clean.

I am glad I didn't have to drive this vehicle as the rain got pretty heavy on occasion.
it looks very dismal

@annied It was. I am about to go out for a medical appointment today and it has just started thundering and bucketing down. Could be another soggy outing

Don't you just hate driving behind such trucks, especially on such a long stretch! I need to see what's happening on the road ahead of me.

It's hard enough driving in heavy rain but it's even harder being stuck behind a truck in the heavy rain. Visibility is so limited! But I'm glad you made it to and fro without any problems and I hope all went well at the doctor's. good collage!

We were stuck behind this oversize vehicle for about 40 km but luckily the traffic was quite light and we could keep our distance, it was only as we approached either traffic lights or roundabouts that we got sprayed with water.
