I am a bit late posting today because we have been out with friends for lunch and then David had a medical appointment late this afternoon. Just got home.
My shoulder is feeling much better but I haven't done anything too strenuous today so far.
Just a bit further along the path on the waterfront from where I took yesterday's 'Collecting Beach Treasures' photo I spotted this ring of roses around one of the trees. On closer inspection I noticed a brass plaque at the foot of the tree in memory of a young lady called Nicole who died at the age of 37. So sad, but close by is a bench and this area of the beach is called Sunset Beach because of the spectacular sunset scenes. I am sure it will be a peaceful place for the young girls family to sit and be close to their daughter/mum/sister.
I have never see a prettier tribute...so much nicer than a bunch of flowers or even worse plastic ones at the base of a tree....a very sad story indeed...as you say a lovely quiet place to sit & remember a loved one.
Sad but a beautiful place. I read about your shoulder the other day. I know what you go through. I have the same. my left one is worse than my right one. the pain keeps me up most of the night as I can't find a comfortable position. doctor says it's old age, arthritis and tendonitis in the left and rotator cuff tears in my right shoulder.
Glad you're feeling much better.
(Yes. often for four years. )
