No time for photos today as we have got a lot going on here.
We have spent most of the day cleaning up the garden after storms and high winds over the last couple of days.
We lost two huge branches off one of our trees and had to chop that up and then rake a garbage bin full of leaves. The large branches and remainder of the garden rubbish will have to be taken to the tip next time there is a green rubbish collection. We already have a trailer full of green waste.
Here is another close up of a Gymea lily, this one is in a better state than yesterday's one, which was definitely past its best but I wanted to post yesterday's photo with the bird in the shot to give a sense of scale as to how huge these flowers are.
I am not feeling too good this afternoon so may be absent for a while. I think I rather overdid it today.
Lovely shot of this beautiful lily, love those huge crinkly petals. Sounds as if you had a real tough day! So sorry that you are not feeling too good and hope that you can rest for a while and soon feel better.
A beautiful lily. Hope you feel recovered very soon, Babs. We had a flood in our garage after torrential rain and the stream overflowed, plus Ray found a little cat dead in the garden - a neighbour saw one hit by a car and we think it just managed to make it into our garden - a peaceful place to pass away.
They really are quite impressive because of their size. I hope you get a lot of rest and feel better soon- you are such a go-getter it's not surprising you've tuckered yourself out!

(I love to see Australia`s beautiful flora.)
@quietpurplehaze Oh dear hope the floods didn't do too much damage. Poor cat too. I hope it is buried but not to close to Jinks,
@louannwarren I always drink gallons of water Lou Ann, I think the events of the last few months have just caught up with me and I am so tired
@terryliv A bit like me Poppo, big, impressive and not very pretty ha ha
No worries Babs, no burials in the garden! The 'territory' of the vet!!
