I haven't had any time for photos today. Had to buy a new battery for my car this morning then did some grocery shopping and just as I got home the power went off again. It has only just returned so after I have had a cuppa I will catch up on your photos.
I took this photo a few days ago as I walked around the breakwater at the marina.
You can't actually see our house in this picture but it is hidden in the trees to the right of the houses up on the hill. This is our local beach next to the marina and Anchorage resort.
@ludwigsdiana It was pure luck we came here. We were posted to the RAAF base close to here over 25 years ago and after 16 moves and 3 different countries with the military we decided to stay. Best decision we ever made.
@happypat@robz Thanks. I have plenty to keep me occupied during lockdown but it is not being able to travel far or meet up with friends that is the difficult bit. We chat on the phone, but its not the same. We have just heard that restrictions will ease on the 11 October for people who are fully vaccinated but we will have to wait and see.
@yaorenliu It copes well with wind and has stood up to a few sub tropical cyclones over the years and a tornado.
