Rosella Having a Nervous Bath

I am posting a bit early today because I am in the middle of doing a batch cook of meals to go in the freezer.

While I was taking a break and having a cuppa I sat in our family room and spotted this Eastern Rosella having a bath.

They are such nervous birds and I had to take this photo through the glass door because I didn't want to scare him off.

Not a very clear picture because I was at quite a distance away and he was flapping his wings in the water.

Only a few seconds after I took this photo a rainbow lorikeet flew past and scared him off.

You mention your batch cooking to freeze. What is it that you cook Babs, I am running out of freezer ideas ;-)

Hungarian Mince
Paprika Chicken
Chicken Satay
Moroccan lamb with apricots
Sweet beef curry
Pork and green bean curry
Bolognaise sauce (to serve with either spaghetti or penne pasta
Sausage Casserole
Butter Chicken
Chicken Korma

but today I have made just three of my regulars which are

and
Paprika Chicken

What a colorful bird! You made the right decision to take a picture through the glass! And your recipes sound good! I would love to do that batch cooking, especially now. My husband is traveling and Yelena has a swim meet on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon, but my freezer is just too small...
