Blackbird by pamknowler

Blackbird

The forecast snow did not come overnight thankfully but it was very cold (not by Chicago standards I know!!). I filled up the bird feeders and sat and waited for the birds to come. I haven't seen my little robin for a few days and was hoping for a shot of him. Two fat wood pigeons and a couple of blackbirds later I gave up. I took this blackbird image into Topaz Textures as the fence behind the bird was distracting.

Best on black

Many thanks for your lovely comments on yesterday's images - very much appreciated. It was lovely to see Finlay on the PP once again!!
He looks ready to hop off the page. Great capture.
