The view from my window 2

In the interest of honesty I have to show you the actual direct view from my upgraded room in Chicago 2017 (sorry cannot remember the actual name of the hotel). I rushed to the window and pulled aside the curtain and saw I was level with the huge name on the beautiful building directly opposite my window. I loved the reflections in the side of the building. A very photogenic building.

Yesterday's view was to the left looking up the river. The hotel was on the bend in the river.

I burst out laughing and immediately Face Timed Taffy to show her my view. I am from the UK and have no view on the politics in the US - it's crazy enough in my own country.

Please no political comments - this is a photography site.
@taffy - Remember this Taffy?

That really is very funny! I found a photo I had taken of Trump Tower in New York when we were there in 2014. Had no idea of its significance then!!

Beautiful reflections! Your hotel’s reflections are stunning. Travel memories are more important right now than maybe ever. I long to go on even a short trip, but don’t dare.

Well that view makes a great photo Pam....you can’t say no body wouldn’t know the name! I think it’s a great view just for the history alone!

ummmm -- weren't you at the London House??? I'm so sorry you had to have that view but it does make for an interesting abstract photo of buildings, reflections, and lines!
