Memorial Day is a day celebrated by America - not sure if other countries celebrate this day or not but we don't here in the UK. I remembered seeing a memorial to the USA Airforce so went out and found it near Boughton House, Geddington. Its a beautiful memorial - I hope you can read the words. I have picked out the detail from the top - "Keep the Show on the Road" Which was a great sentiment for those brave men!!
Lovely tribute and excellent detail of the top panel. The cause that so many died for must not only be remembered but should not be forgotten when reacting to current problems. In the UK I am seeing too many ugly reactions to recent events which do not seem to honour or regard what this memorial, and countless more, represents.
