I love the look of a pomegranate but I don't like eating them - definitely too many seeds!!

Have you tried using the seeds in a salad? They taste really yummy that way and are much easier to eat.

@mittens @danette many thanks Marilyn and Danette! The background is white but you are right Danette it does look blue now I am looking on my Kindle. This was my first pomegranate and it was surprisingly juicy!

I love the way you have arranged the fruit and the rich tones of the red - I never realised how starkly white the flesh is by comparison - I take it from @missmercy 's comment that the seeds themselves are edible - I must experiment more with the wide variety of fruits so readily available these days.

Yes the seeds are edible.. I think they look better than they taste though! Great shot, it's a stunning fruit in this shot
