I went for a walk this morning and took lots of shots none of which I liked when I put them on the PC. Do you have days like that? Lots of ideas which didn't work!!
I have reworked a shot from last year when I did a series of shots standing on the platform in Wellingborough Station. This one I have always loved as there was such a good reflection in the window of the train as it flashed by. I have given the shot a watercolour filter.
Thank you all once again for your great comments on my shots - I will be trying to catch up with you as soon as I can.
Pam, this is terrific! I love the processing and the feeling of speed that at the same time, captures a clear sense of the reflections in the window. Brilliant way to address the word of the day. Mmm...have I ever taken a lot of shots and been disappointed? I laughed -- last night I took almost 60 shots without realizing I had the ISO set at 2000 from the concert the night before! Happens all too often for so many different reasons.
Love the reflections in the windows. It's so disappointing when the shot looks great in the camera but then fails to hold up when transfered to the computer.
It's is always disappointing when I load my photos on to the computer! That is why I hav to go back and try again! I wonder if I will ever learn! I do like this one - an impression of speed but so clear!
Super shot Pam! Just right ! I am going to Mt Panorama , Bathurst, for the v8 supercars race in a few days! Will try to capture a similar shot ( or several thousand) . Looking forward to it ! All 3 cameras are going as well!
@gmost Thanks for the great comments and Fav Glenn - very much appreciated!! I like the sound of the V8 supercars race - lots of photo opportunities!! Sounds like fun - enjoy!!
