The continuing story of the robin. He has discovered where I am hiding the mealworms and is coming every day now. I have had to give in with the garden fork however as the rain is ruining the handle and it's quite new so it has gone back into the shed. Here he is on the fence below the feeders and he has found the mealworms on the wall below him. (Looks so much better large!!)
I couldn't go out today as I am having problems with both my feet. I have a problem with both heals underneath and am waiting for orthotics to be made which will hoprfully help. I am hoping for a miracle!! I have spent a fortune on shoes which feel comfortable in the shop and kill me when I walk in them!! So feeling rather sorry for myself today and decided as I couldn't get out I would sit and wait for my friendly robin to turn up.

Friday 25th October - this lovely robin hit the TT - WOW I am so thrilled - I really never expected to get a shot on there. Many thanks to all you lovely people for getting him there!!
A beautiful robin. I am sorry about your feet (says one who had foot surgery in January). I assume you are seeing a doctor? Are you doing exercises for the pain? Oh, and apparently epsom salt baths are supposed to be wonderful for healing.
@henrir Thank you so much for your lovely comments and Fav Henri - very much appreciated!! The chiropodist has said there is no guarantee they will help but lots of people have had positive results. Trouble is I have had my problem in both feet - plantar fasciatus for over 5 years now and there just seems to be no relief!! I will try anything now!! Probably too much information - sorry!!
@danette Thank you Danette. I have been given excercises for the first time and been told to massage the ball of the heal even if its painful. this is new so worth a try!! I will get the epsom salts tomorrow!!
I love this robin series and the way you've enticed him to hang out in your area. Sad to read your feet are giving you problems and hope the orthotics do the trick.

Just revisiting your thread on your feet. I have the most terrible painful heel on the left, I have to crawl if I get up in the night or if I have been sitting in the evening. Eases up when I do walk but really awful. I am guessing plantar fasciitis. Is this what your is?
@lucypics oh no Lucy it definitely sounds like it! Always worse in the morning or if I have been sitting! I have it in both feet. I had cortisone injections in both heals but no luck it didn't work. I have spent a fortune on shoes and my feet stll hurt when I walk. I am hoping the orthotics will help! I have bad flare up at the moment. I've had this for years now ', I hope you get some relief for your foot. Try stretching your foot before you put any weight on it. Good luck !
