1st December 2013 - December Rosebuds

I was so surprised to see these rosebuds in my garden this morning I had to take a shot. How beautiful roses in December. I'm not sure they will actually open but it just shows how mild it is for the time of year.

Beautiful pink buds in December - a lovely touch of colour at this time of year. I have some remaining roses and a big fuschia bush still going strong. So unusual for this time of year.

Just what we need, rosebuds in December. A friend told us the other day that she sometimes freezes roses and brings them out on Christmas Day - makes a good talking point and they last for about 24 hours!
