This was taken in one of my favourite places - Padley Gorge, Derbyshire. Definitely better large!!
What a day so far - my nephew and his wife came and when they left they had filled their estate car with so many of my pictures and ornaments and books and DVDs and so it goes on!! I am so pleased they wanted the things rather than I give them away to a Charity shop. It's good to think that lots of my things will be kept in the family.
I have been trying to make space for my sister's things especially pictures and ornaments as I want her to feel the house is half hers and not her just moving into my house with all my things. Does that make sense?
Anyway I too exhausted to take any shots today so it's another oldy - but one I love!!
Many thanks for your lovely comments and Favs on my Hydrangea shots yesterday. I see that they both made it on the Trending Page but I did not see them on there so it must have been a quick visit!! LOL!!
Super capture and presentation Pam -- it must be hard to get rid of so many personal objects I know I should declutter but find it very difficult to know where to start !! and so it goes on !!
This is a gorgeous capture, Pam. Love the whole scene. I is so nice to hear that you have family taking some of things you are parting with. That is the best thing to pass them on. Could I ask what an estate car is? I haven't heard that term before and it made me curious. Is it like a pick up or larger car that we call SUV's?
@sansjuan Thanks for the lovely comment Nita!! Yes I do feel so much happier knowing lots of my things have gone to family - it doesn't seem so hard parting with them. I have kept my most sentimental posessions as will Barbara and we will find room for it all come what may!! LOL!!
My description of an Estate car would be a saloon car with a large carrying area at the back behind the seating area with a door at the rear. We always joke in the family that they are an antique dealers car as they can get all their stock in the back of the car when they go to sales. Not an SUV which I would describe as a 4x4 off road car (I think). I will get a photo of Colin's car sometime and post it so you can see what I mean.
