18th February 2014 - F for Fishing

On the beach at Filey.

Many thanks for your great comments on my Fog shot - very much appreciated!!

Pc still out of action. I need to find a repair man to mend my on/off button.

We are concentrating on getting Barbara's house ready to go on the market. Then we can sort out all of the things that need to find places in my house!! Two houses into one isn't easy!!

Just not getting time to take photos at the moment so using older shots to fill the days. The online photography course also started yesterday and I haven't had time to even look at it. The timing is not good for me!!
Cool composition. I'm also doing the on line course that started yesterday. Had a decent look yesterday but haven't signed in today! It looks really interesting

Filey. Love it. Looks suitably wintery and quiet. Great reflections off the sand

Nice perspective here. I like the tones here, it really feels like the end of the day and creates a story.

I love the tone in this shot and the people that give it scale. The move sounds really time consuming but worth it in the end.
Thanks for your wonderful supportive visits and comments on my recent photos, Pam! I know how busy you are!

Love the way the sand and sea meet seamlessly. This chap is loaded for "bear".

A beautiful shot, Pam. Love the composition and light. You do have so much going on right now, you will get through it though it is hard. Is there anyone to help you and Barbara with her house preparations? That is a big job.

Nice story shot!

@sansjuan Thanks Nita. Yes Barbara has three sons who were a great help with the move. She just wants to get on and sort the house out and get it on the market and of course they are all working so can't help in the week. There are a couple of walls which need painting/touching up and then the house will be ready to get the valuations. Barbara wants it to look perfect and I can understand that first impressions do count when selling a house. Today we were going round to the house but i think exhaustion has caught up with both of us so we are having a rest day. We are both not as young and fit as we once were!! LOL!!

Pam moving, or moving your sister in must be fairly stressful for you both so it's not easy to be picking up your camera and taking photographs. I have only looked at 2 videos for the photography course but am hoping to do some tomorrow. I love the composition of this shot Pam and it has great tones too.
