This is my favourite perfume and the only one i ever wear. Anyone remember the Marilyn Monroe quote about what she wore to bed? LOL!! Continuing the Macro-March theme.
Many thanks for all your great comments on my hairdryer shot. This one is HDR again - just trying to ring the changes with the macro shots!!
I am away tomorrow for a few days in Derbyshire and not sure if there will be WiFi. I will have to catch up next weekend. Fingers crossed the weather is kind as Derbyshire is one of the most beautiful counties.
Terrific shot, but not my favourite perfume. Love how you've captured the name on the bottle. BTW am I supposed to tag my shots with the number of the week as well as macro-march?
@busylady Thanks Judith. yes there has been a different theme each week - mind you i haven't stuck to it as it's been hard enough just finding things to do a macro shot of!! LOL!! This week it's having a bucket list of macro shots. I don't have a bucket list!!
You mean, "Chanel No 5 - because it's the truth"? I like the way you hint at the No 5 label through the back of the bottle. I get in trouble a lot because many perfumes are a migraine trigger for me, so I often have to leave the room when a lady enters. Not a good social move.
@rvwalker That's a shame Ross - mind you some perfumes are overpowering!
A journalist asked Marilyn what she wore in bed and she answerd -Chanel No 5!! LOL!!
Just perfect, reminds me of my mum. I still keep her last bottle even though I lost her in 1999. A FAV for the wonderful memory you have just brought me :)
Pam, I love this shot, you won't believe this but this is also my favorite perfume. My father used to by it for me every couple of years. I ran out a few years ago and didn't purchase for myself. This last Christmas my oldest daughter bought me some and I cried it brought back so many memories. I love the idea we have a favorite perfume in common.
@sansjuan hi Nita I'm just back from a few days away and I was so pleased to see you back! How lovely that you too are a No 5 kind of gal! I am sure we have lots more in common! Lol! I am so happy that your daughter bought you some - it's wonderful what memories perfumes can give us. My mum used to wear Helena Rubenstein's Apple Blossom which wasn't very expensive I know. If ever I smell it now I remember the lovely hugs I used to get when I was young!
