My knee is still quite painful so I am not venturing far from the house. Another bird shot from the garden. I was pleased to see this greenfinch visiting today as I haven't seen any finches for ages. He sat in this position for ages as if to say come on take my picture!!

@Weezilou Thanks Louise I cropped out the other side of the feeder as it looked horrible - all the seed had gone mouldy in the bottom which I hadn't seen until I took this close up shot. I must take it down in the morning and give it a good scrub!!
Love how his beak is nearly translucent from the back lighting. Feel for you re the knee.......mine has just been xrayed...they are so annoying when they play up!
