13th November 2014 - Bird feeder

The local landfill site where the seagulls and redkites can always be seen feeding off the rubbish.

Not a street but it does show the human condition in a public place. I will be interested to see your comments - Is this Street Photography?

Busy today so going through some old shots to see if I could find anything that would qualify for "Street" - without people.

Many thanks for all your great comments on yesterday's shots you are all so very supportive and I really appreciate your help.
Fabulous shot! Love how much is going on! Think you can categorize this as street photography!

I like the colour version better. I'm more drawn to the rubbish in this shot. In the b and w which I still like I'm more drawn to the birds. It certainly tells a story of human condition without humans in it.

Again, I don't know if this qualifies as street photography, but I think it's a wonderful shot with great colour and motion, and it's a fav for me.

I love the motion and all the colour here. Rubbish never looked so good.

Great variety of food for these birds... great colorful capture.

Hmmm Tough choice. The b/w lots more gritty which is so fitting for garbage but I think I like the distinct colours. Both are great

The birds in flight against the trash are really intriguing. I like this!

So much to look at! Great shot! Our dump has eagles and bears.

I think it's terrific! I like the color because it makes me think of birds feeding in a positive way, and the story of the human condition comes through in the landfill. The b&w one makes me think of the Hitchcock movie and it's scary!! Very cool images, Pam.
And thank you so much for your encouraging words!

I'm definitely going with the colour version. It is much easier to see what the picture actually is, where the grass ends and the rubbish begins, in colour. Great pop of yellow too. Wonderful shot with all those birds.

Wonderful colour and shot Pam.

I like this version best for the vibrancy and the additional sense of movement in the birds.
