I sat and waited for the robin to appear and waited and finally he came to the garden. He was spying out the lie of the land from this vantage point. I was willing him to fly over to the pot of mealworms and the Fork handle sitting waiting for him. He finally flew down to the grass in front of the Fork handle and was just about to fly up to the mealworms when Finlay spotted him and came chasing out into the garden barking full volume!! Noooooo!! I will leave the fork handle where it is and hopefully the robin will get his courage up and have a look at what's on offer. Watch this space. I will get the shot I want - fingers crossed!! LOL!!
