A young goldfinch letting his mum know he wants to be fed. Difficult to get a good shot of the babies as they are continually quivering and flapping their wings and making little calling sounds. We have a family of three babies and the parents coming to the bird feeders off and on all day.
Oh, look at him! When we were up in Michigan a couple of weeks ago, we watched a gold finch darting back and forth between the bird feeder and the tree branch, such fun to watch!
