Another B&W conversion - had some time for processing today. I had to clone out a couple of cars behind him - why didn't I see them when I was taking the shot? Makes a change for me to have a model other than Finlay for my shots.
I like his lean and shadow in terms of composition. It feels a little tight at the top of his head so if you have space to play with, I'd make him a little smaller relative to his environment. The lighting is terrific I think -- casts a shadow but lights his smile. Great for our challenge!
@taffy yes I think you are right about the top of the shot. I had to clone a couple of cars out and this is probably why I have cropped it tightly. I will go back and check it out. Thanks for your comments Taffy!
This is so crisp and clear, I like how the boy and bike are all in focus. I also think the crop is a bit tight, but I really like how you got the shadow in the shot. And I don't notice the cloning at all.

I went bAck to original Raw to see if I could get some more room at the top but unfortunately above the 2 cars I have already cloned out it is the houses which are impossible to clone - I did try but it looke& awful. I will therefore leave this one alone and just remember to be more aware of background especially when I am trying to set up an action shot!
