Name that tune

The beautiful song of the robin which is at it's best at this time of year. As I was taking macro shots of teasels and fresh green buds this gorgeous robin was sitting above my head singing his heart out.

A lovely visit this morning to Summer Leys with Rosie @rosiekind. We saw so many different kinds of birds - it was a joy sitting in the hide watching and listening!! We left when we started to feel cold and Rosie treated me to a lovely lunch - in the warm!! So good to have a catch up.

@rosiekind Rosie I chose this robin and a goldfinch to upload. I wonder what you will choose out of all the different birds we saw today.

Love the detail- how come robins so often look a bit cross when their tune is heavenly?
