Grey Wagtail by phil_sandford

Grey Wagtail

Phbotograph from yesterday's walk around Bradgate Park with @carole_sandford.

Grey Wagtail sat on boulder. he was flitting around the stream as we were walking by. Very hard to capture, as like the Pied Wagtail I see in my garden now and then, he just didn't stay still for very long.

Managed to get this shot ...........

I really like the smallness of the bird against the large rock it is sitting on and the positioning of the shot. Great capture - they are tricky little things!

Viewing on my mobile I almost didn't see the bird. Good job I read your words otherwise I would have thought it was a pretty picture of some rocks in a stream 😉 He's a pretty looking thing. Very well capture mate 🙄
