I haven't seen that much of this young man during the year, so it was lovely to see him today as 'carole_sandford had agreed to have him whilst his mum went shopping, as she'd forgotten that I'd taken today as annual leave.
He was very tired, didn't want to eat and certainly didn't know what to make of this bearded stranger looking and cooing at him.
He did, reluctantly, sat on Nanny's lap, agree to a few photographs, with his Nanny removing his dummy for me. The camera I was using shoots a white light at the subject to get the focus, which he hated, screwing up his eyes; I had to wait until he'd stopped dong that before I could take the photograph, by which time on many occasions, he'd popped the dummy back in his mouth. This was one of the rare shots that he hadn't.
