Back at Welford Road after 40 days away; Tigers v Wasps - huge rivals for many years and now, wrongly in my opinion, classed as a local derby since Wasps relocated from London to Coventry. Both of us formally very successful sides, now both languishing in the bottom half of the table (but both of us safe from relegation due to Saracens’ transgressions and punishments)
Least said about the first half where the rugby on display, from both sides, was shocking (even with Dennis as an excuse); Wasps were marginally less poor than Tigers. We suddenly switched on in second half and, again in my opinion, ran out deserving winners.
