Spinnaker Tower, Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth..........

..........a 170-metre (560 ft) landmark tower, centrepiece of the redevelopment of Portsmouth Harbour, was opened in 2005.

We spied this workman about halfway up, looking a bit like a swatted fly, doing a bit of mantenance - he must have nerves of steel.

@creativeamateur He must have had a safety harness but looked as though he was just hanging by a piece of thread. This POW is the only one for me! You can see the 3 top floors are viewing platforms with coloured glass windows, - one floor also has a glass floor and there is an internal lift - the glass external lift never became operational.

Auckland is supposed to be the city of sails although Portsmouth is acting like it is. LOL - at first I thought he was an oil stain.

@tishpics Well I'll come clean, it was Ray who saw him..... I think the tower took a little while to get accepted but now is part of the furniture.
