@doblaine Strange you should comment on the bricks. I had a fancy, once, to paint the front house wall (in Suffolk, our home county, exterior house walls are often painted, pink being a favourite colour.) However, on investigation, I found out that our bricks are fletton bricks, which it is not possible to paint. Another 'bright idea' of mine gone to waste!
