What type of flower is it Hazel? It's so pretty!

@cathycope Cathy - it's just a macro of one of three hyacinths in a pot - I posted it in bud yesterday. It's not a top grade bulb as there are not many flowers on the stem but maybe it gives a better shot than the dense ones?!

Is this the same flower as in yesterdays shot. If so it has opened out quite a lot and yes it is pink but it looks like it will be a delicate pink!

@purplehaze12 Yes to all! I was surprised to see how much this hyacinth had opened this morning. The more usual pink for hyacinths I think is much brighter.

I`ve to wait for April to see them in our garden blooming. A pity the last not for so long. Did you grow them yourself ? Lovely capture

@pyrrhula Thank you - these are indoor ones in a pot and bought froma local shop. Ray used to plant hyacinths every year and then sometimes some went mouldy or got eaten. This pot of 3 only cost me £2 reduced so we buy them now.

@quietpurplehaze Often they are planted on the road and canal sides and around farmhouses.

They cost here about the same in €
