This amaryllis (3 stems with blooms, impossible to photograph it all) was a Christmas gift to Lesley. The flowers are white with delicate touches of green and pink. I took so many photos that it was hard to decide which one to post.

I'd never seen one like this - it's not in soil, either, but in pebbles in a glass bowl in water (a bigger version of the ones we use to grow hyacinths). It has two fully grown stems with several flowers on each and a new bud just appearing.

Yes, lots of double blooms on two stalks and a third stalk with bud appearing.
