I agree that having a dog is very therapeutic. It also makes us get up early in this hot weather as we have to walk Jinks before 8 a.m. and after 9 p.m. Sometimes we need a siesta in the afternoon too. He sleeps all day, here and there in the house and garden.

He's pretty good at pulling bits of undergrowth off the rest of his body, with his mouth, but this he couldn't reach!
