panamora of the quarters of the brethren by quietpurplehaze

panamora of the quarters of the brethren

The Hospital of St Cross & Almshouse of Noble Poverty provides accommodation for 25 brethren. This is a panoramic view of their living quarters.

The Hospital is a secular foundation, hence the brethren are not monks.
Fantastic Panorama. The doors & chimney's add great architectural interest & appeal. I almost missed the tiny pop of red, love it !

Super shot of a very interesting building -- at first glance all looked the same --then it became a game of spot the difference of each section between two chimneys !!

Oh and how interesting that it's secular. The churches (and other religions) have led charitable work for a long time so it's good to see that it's possible 'just' from humanity.

What an interesting building Hazil...those chimney pots are fabulous....a good chimney pot defines a building so much. Like the touch of red.

@sansjuan

Nita, it's a wonder I didn't fall over! I used the panoramic option on my Lumix camera - it's a bit hard to keep the camera steady and pan along whilst turning round!
