This little penguin came close to the 'audience' and obligingly stood still for a few minutes. I'd forgotten it was half-term and the zoo car park was heaving with cars, as was the zoo with people. Beautiful sunny day.
No problems for photography except that the Amur leopard cub was in its enclosure but there were so many reflections. When I put the lens of the X20 right up against the glass to eliminate them, the slightest pressure made the lens retract because via the lens is how the camera switches on and off.
So all my shots of Kanika had 'whirry' bits in them!
Oh yes, that's another reason for a new camera. (In fact I had my Lumix FZ62 with me but those shots were rubbish too!!!)
