Photo 1555
footbridge in light and shadow
shot in the The Lakes country park at Eastleigh
I've found it helpful to participate in flashofred 2017 and I've learned more about b&w photography.
But I'm beginning to feel as if I am in a b&w straitjacket and for now will be glad to relinquish it after tomorrow - for a while, at least!

Adds a bit of intrigue.
I must admit I don't like the majority of b&w photos & find them quite depressing. And I struggled to add positive comments.

Nice! I am actually starting to prefer b&w for many shots.

I can see the virtue of b&w but perhaps Feb is not a good month for a whole one of mono!

Feb being the shortest is the best for a whole month's worth if you're not comfortable with b&w!

Wot? By 3 days!! I'm not really that uncomfortable with it. It's just not my best 'non-prescription medicine'!!!!

I love b&w, but this month I have seen so many monochrome shots that I will be glad to see more colour.
I love the way b&w emphasises the patterns and lines.

A nice shot, Hazel. But since it's grey and rainy here, I think I prefer your picture of the beautiful chrysanths.

A great bridge to photograph with its lines and patterns and good in B/W with the parkland beyond.
