Dude — it’s December 7!

I forget why I passed by this outside door, but I was surprised to see this guy, given that the temperature didn't exceed 43°F (6°C) today. For sizing, it's on a door molding that's 1" on each of the two visible faces.

Probably a wolf spider; that seems to be what I find in my usual comings-and-goings.
