We’ve now joined this club. It’s necessary while Clare recovers from foot surgery, but I suspect it would be a good idea to leave it up even after she’s back to 100%.

I had them put in when we added them to my mother's house. They should be a must for all bathtubs and showers, no matter what the age of the people who use them. Anyone can slip. They're great for regaining one's balance when they've got soap in their eyes, too.
