On our way to spend Christmas with the kids — and grandkids ;) — in Massachusetts. It’s a two-day, 1200-mile drive, but one fun facet has been finding a place to stay for the overnight, with a pub-style restaurant nearby. This time we found Timber Creek Tap & Table in Grove City, Pennsylvania. It’s about 645 miles from home, so that leaves us about 550 miles tomorrow.
The strategy is always to do a bit more on the first day of the two-day drive, so for the return trip, we now try for Medina, Ohio. If we can get a room at the Holiday Inn, we can walk to On Tap Medina. :) Also, that’s about 640 miles from the kids’ … again leaving us about 550 miles for the second day on the homebound journey.
